Watermark PDF
Stamp a diagonal text watermark like "DRAFT" or "CONFIDENTIAL" across every page of a PDF — entirely in your browser, the file is never uploaded anywhere.
Stamp a text watermark such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL across every page of a PDF. It runs in your browser and the file is not uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF (up to 50 MB).
- Type the watermark text.
- Download the result and check a few pages.
What it does
The text is bold grey, rotated 45 degrees, starting near the middle of the page, at 30% opacity. The type size is fixed at one sixth of the page’s shorter side, whatever you type, so keep the text to a word or two: a long phrase will run off the edge of the page. The tool uses a standard built-in font, so stick to plain Latin letters and numbers.
Good to know
A watermark labels a document and discourages casual reuse. It does not stop copying, because the content underneath is still there and anyone with your unmarked original can use it. Use proper access controls for real protection. The colour, angle and opacity cannot be changed. Keep your unmarked original, and add numbering with the page numbers tool if you need it.
See the guide.
