Random Team/Name Picker
Pick random winners from a list of names, or shuffle a list into random teams — instantly, in your browser.
Pick winners from a list of names, or split everyone into teams. The draw runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Enter one name per line.
- Choose pick for winners or teams to split the list.
- Enter how many winners or teams you want.
- Read and copy the result.
Example
Six names split into two teams give two teams of three, such as Team 1: Ann, Fay, Bo and Team 2: Eli, Cy, Dee. Each run shuffles differently.
Good to know
You need at least one name. With an odd number of people, one team will be a person bigger. A random split does not balance skill; if that matters, draft instead. To keep a draw fair, agree the list and the number of winners first, draw once and keep the result. For public giveaways, say how winners were chosen and check local rules on prize draws. For numbers rather than names, use the Random Number Generator.

FAQs
Can the same name win twice in one draw?
No. Each name appears once in the list, so it can be drawn at most once in a run.
