How to use it

  1. Choose an image (up to 25 MB).
  2. Enter x (pixels from the left edge), y (pixels from the top), and the width and height to keep.
  3. Download the cropped image.

Example

For a 1,200 × 800 photo, x = 200, y = 100, width = 600 and height = 400 keeps a 600 × 400 area starting 200 pixels in and 100 down. A centred 800 × 800 square is x = 200, y = 0.

Good to know

The top-left corner of the image is 0, 0. Width and height must be above zero, and if the box extends past the edge the tool shows an error with the original dimensions so you can adjust. There is no drag-to-select box, only exact numbers. Cropping removes part of the picture without changing the pixels that remain, while resizing changes the whole image, so for a thumbnail crop first and then use the Image Resizer.
