How to use it

  1. Choose an image (up to 25 MB).
  2. Pick a rotation (0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise) and tick any flips.
  3. Download the result.

Handy combinations

  • Rotating by 90 or 270 degrees swaps width and height: a 1,200 × 800 image becomes 800 × 1,200.
  • A 180-degree rotation equals flipping both horizontally and vertically.
  • To fix a mirrored selfie, flip horizontally only.

Good to know

The tool draws the picture again and re-saves it, so a JPEG goes through one more round of compression and loses its EXIF data; make all your edits in one pass. Rotation moves pixels only: it does not straighten a slightly tilted horizon. Phones store orientation as a flag in the file instead of rotating the pixels, which is why some photos open sideways in some programs.

FAQs

Is the original changed?

No. You download a new file and the original stays as it was.
