How to use it

  1. Choose a PDF (up to 50 MB).
  2. Pick the position: bottom left, bottom centre or bottom right.
  3. Set the starting number (default 1).
  4. Download the numbered file.

Good to know

Numbers are small black type, about 10 points, near the bottom edge of every page. Set the starting number above 1 when the PDF continues another document: if the first part has 12 pages, start the next at 13. The first page always gets the starting number, so the tool cannot skip a cover page; number a copy without the cover and add the cover back with Merge PDF. There is no “Page 1 of 10” format or font choice, and the tool does not avoid existing footer text, so check for overlap. Numbers cannot be removed afterwards, so keep your original.

See the guide.

FAQs

Can I number only some pages?

Not directly. Extract the pages you want with the extract tool, number that file and merge again.
