Worked example
Replacing “colour” with “color” in “The colour of the colourful car” gives “The color of the colorful car” with 2 matches, or only 1 if you choose whole-word matching.

- Use whole-word matching so replacing “cat” does not change “category”.
- Leave the replacement empty to delete every match.
- Check the match count first to confirm you are changing what you expect.
