Forms ask for centimetres while your passport says 5 ft 9. The only awkward part is that feet and inches are two numbers.
The calculation
Convert everything to inches (feet × 12 + inches), then multiply by 2.54. 5 ft 9 in is 69 inches, which is 175.26 cm. In reverse, divide centimetres by 2.54 to get total inches, then split into feet and the remainder: 175 cm is 68.9 inches, which is 5 ft 8.9 in.
