What Is My IP
See your public IP address, browser user agent, and screen resolution at a glance.
See your public IP address, your browser’s user agent and your screen resolution at a glance.
What it shows
- IP address: the address websites see when you connect, assigned by your internet provider or by your VPN.
- User agent: the string your browser sends to name itself and your operating system.
- Screen resolution: your display size in pixels, read in your browser.
How it works
A browser cannot know its own public address, so this is the one tool on 99digest that asks our server. The request returns the address your connection comes from and shows it to you; it is not written to a database or log by the tool. As with any page request, the visit appears in ordinary server logs, as described in the Privacy Policy. The user agent and screen resolution are read directly in your browser.
Good to know
Devices inside your home share one public address and have private ones of their own, such as 192.168.1.20. An address can suggest your country and often your region, not your street. It can change over time. With a VPN you will see the VPN server’s address, which is a quick way to check it works. If the lookup fails, for example because an extension blocks it, the other two values still show.
