Image Converter
Convert an image between PNG, JPG, and WebP — entirely in your browser, the image is never uploaded anywhere.
Convert an image between PNG, JPEG and WebP. It runs in your browser and the image is not uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose an image (up to 25 MB).
- Pick the target format: PNG, JPEG or WebP.
- Download the converted file.
Which format?
- JPEG: photographs, with small files and no transparency.
- PNG: logos, screenshots and anything transparent or with sharp edges.
- WebP: usually the smallest, with transparency, supported by browsers but not every older app.
Good to know
Dimensions stay the same. JPEG and WebP output uses a quality of 92%, and PNG is saved without loss. JPEG has no transparency, so when you convert a transparent PNG to JPEG the tool fills the background with white. Converting a JPEG to PNG does not restore detail that was already lost, and converting repeatedly between lossy formats degrades the picture. An animated GIF is not preserved as an animation.

FAQs
Will quality drop?
A little when going to JPEG or WebP, usually invisibly. Going to PNG loses nothing.
