Overview
99digest (“we”, “us”) operates this website and its free online tools. This policy explains what data is involved when you use the site. We are a small project and we aim to collect as little as possible.
Your tool inputs stay on your device
The tools run in your browser using JavaScript. The text you type, and the files and images you choose, are processed on your own device. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers, and we cannot see them. This applies to text tools, calculators, converters, PDF tools and image tools.
The “What Is My IP” tool
This one tool asks our server which IP address your connection is using, so it can show it to you. The address is returned to your browser and is not stored by the tool. Like every page request, it also appears in ordinary server logs described below.
Information stored in your browser
The site stores small preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as your light or dark theme choice. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. It is used to keep the site secure and reliable, and not to build advertising profiles.
Analytics and advertising
We may add privacy-conscious analytics (for example Google Analytics and Google Search Console) to understand how the site is used, and we may show advertising (for example Google AdSense) to fund the free tools. These services can use cookies or similar technologies. If and when we enable them, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent first. Your tool inputs are never shared with these services.
Accounts and personal data
The site does not offer accounts or logins and does not ask you for personal information to use a tool. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Third parties
We do not sell your personal data. Our hosting provider processes technical data on our behalf in order to deliver the site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data held about you, such as access, correction or deletion. Because we hold very little, most requests are simple. Email us and we will respond.
Children
The site is a general-audience utility site and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
